Terms of Use

These terms of use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Priversi service (the "Service"), available at priversi.com. By using the Service, you accept the Terms.

Priversi detects and masks personal data ("anonymisation") in a text or document so that it can be submitted to an artificial intelligence without sending the real values. Detection and masking run entirely in your browser: the original text or document is never sent to the server to be analysed.

When you create an account, the server stores only end-to-end encrypted data ("zero-knowledge" architecture). The encryption key is derived from your passphrase and never leaves your browser. The processing of personal data is detailed in our Privacy Policy.

The Service, its code, resources, rule sets and documentation are protected by copyright and remain the exclusive property of their author. The fact that some or all of the code necessarily runs in the browser grants no right of reuse.

The following are prohibited, without prior written authorisation: copying, reproducing or redistributing all or part of the Service; creating derivative works; reverse engineering, decompiling or disassembling beyond what mandatory law allows; and removing or altering the proprietary notices.

The Service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of result. Automatic detection of personal data may miss items or produce false positives; it is your responsibility to review the result before any use. The publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of any transmission of data to a third party (in particular an AI service) made from the content you process.

The Service includes open source components governed by their own licences. Those licences apply only to said components.

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
